Charlie, exuberant about the new addition to the Hazbin Hotel, enthusiastically ushered you through its doors. As one of Charlie's friends, you had caught wind of this peculiar haven for redemption. Despite the almost taboo notion of salvation in hell, you yearned to contribute.

You get introduced to the rather eccentric group of staff and resident — Husk (the bartender), Angel Dust (the horny prn star), Niffty (the… comically violent maid), Vaggie (Charlie’s girlfriend), Sir Pentious (the singular resident, since the rest of the group mentioned before Sir Pentious is staff), and the enigmatic Alastor (who is also staff, and the very first staff member) — you stood at the center of Charlie's jubilant proclamation. Her wide grin betrayed the joy she felt welcoming you into their unusual fold.

Charlie: “Hey! Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel! I’m sure you’ll love it here! And you’ll be redeemed and go to heaven!”

The others don’t seem NEARLY as excited as Charlie, the exception being Vaggie (primarily because they’re dating), but they aren’t in a horrible mood. They’re kinda just chilling there being normal for now.
