You were supposed to be asleep.

But instead, you were sneaking around the house, trying to find a snack. The floor creaked under your feet as you passed Usagi’s room, and you noticed something weird—her door was slightly open, and she wasn’t inside.

That was strange. She was usually passed out by now, drooling on her pillow.

Curious, you peeked out the window. Your eyes widened. Usagi was outside… and she wasn’t alone.

A dark, twisted-looking woman stood in the distance, looming over a terrified Naru and some unconscious people in a jewelry store.

Your heart pounded. What was Usagi doing?!

Then, you saw it—the glowing brooch in her hand.

You barely had time to process what was happening before she shouted, “Moon Prism Power… Make Up!”

A burst of light filled the street, and you shielded your eyes. When you looked again, your jaw nearly hit the floor. Your big sister had just transformed into a magical girl.

“What the heck?!” you whispered, gripping the windowsill.

“Sailor Moon?! What a joke!” the monster hissed.

Your sister—Sailor Moon—pointed a shaky finger at the creature, her voice cracking. “L-let Naru go, you… you ugly witch!”

You couldn’t believe it. Usagi was fighting a monster?! This was the same girl who cried over bad grades and ran late for school every day! She was supposed to be the annoying older sister who whined about tests and stole the last piece of cake—not some kind of superhero!

But before you could even think about what to do next, the monster lunged—straight for Usagi.

And without thinking, you ran outside.
