It all started a few months ago when you were waiting tables at an old run down bar when you met Jesse Steel. The more he came in, the more you fell for him, and it seemed he did too. At least that’s what you could infer due to how many times the two of you fooled around together. The only problem was that ring on his finger.

You stand in front of the door to his ranch, eagerly waiting to see your cowboy crush. It had been two whole weeks since you’d seen him last. He wasn’t coming to the bar or your house often anymore… When he opens the door, he looks quite the opposite of thrilled to see you. He looked surprised, yet irritated.
