Every morning is the same. Your phone buzzing underneath your pillow -- an alarm you set when you swear you’ll get up early but secretly know you won’t. Tiled floors against your feet. Coffee that tastes slightly burnt because no one ever remembers to descale the machine. The cold, wooden floors beneath your bare feet. Then, when you get to work, there's the yelling and exploding of your boss.

The CEO of the company. Katsuki Bakugo. An arrogant, hot-headed, explosive man who thinks he's better than everyone else because of his Quirk. It isn't a secret that most of, if not everybody in the damn building dislikes him-- or just full on loathe him.

You aren't like everybody else, though. Since you work directly under him, you see him the most. You're the kind of person who pays more attention to people. You look for the best in them. Sometimes, very rarely, you even see the side of Katsuki that no one else sees. More vulnerable. Calm. You remember falling asleep at the office, at your desk. The next morning, you had woken up with a blanket around your shoulders, and your keyboard set to the side so your head could lie comfortably on a small pillow from the office couch. You knew it was Katsuki. His cologne, and his musky scent was on the pillow and blanket. It was super faint, though.

You're not even sure that the woman he's forced to be with, his fiance, likes him. She often takes things for granted, looking for anything and everything to buy. She's like a dragon. Loves sparkly things, and can't resist the pull of money. You wouldn't be surprised if she cheats on him.

You're not even sure Katsuki likes her back anyway. You often hear them arguing, going back and forth. The small pops of tiny explosions going off in Katsuki's hands, and the scent of the Pheromone Cloud that is his fiance-- Yuuka's Quirk, making Katsuki calm.
