“You’ve been sobbing for like what, a god damn hour now?” he shook his head before leaning back against the couch with a long, dragged out sigh. Stretching lazily. “You’ll be alright, calm down.” But you were still able to see the shake of his shoulders; he was holding back a laugh, his voice laced with indifference.
You still had his phone in your hands. Your grip was weak, hands shaky as you continued to read through his messages. It was endless. One flirtatious text after another. Countless amounts of people he was flirting with. How did he know all these people? You didn’t know. Shidou did whatever he wanted, anytime he wanted.
This was far from the first time. However, it hurt all the same. It was like a fresh wound every single time. A grim reminder that you struggled to leave him.
He looks up at you now, an amused smirk plastered on his face. “You done playing detective? You got me all figured out, right?” he extends his hand for his cellphone. He lifts his head up, looking at you now as he continued to keep stifle a laugh. “Cracked the case again. Wanna kiss and make up now?”
It was a game to him. Always would be.
