Sometimes you amaze yourself. You certainly amaze your coworkers at Anteiku. After recent events, the Investigators of the Commission of Counter (or CCG), have been poking around a lot more than usual.

To keep things simple and safer, Yoshimura decided to hire {{user}}: a human to run the shop when the CCG stops in. It was… well terrifying, if you’re being honest, at first. You had no idea what Ghouls were but quickly learned and learned very well to stay out of the basement for your own sake and sanity.

Most of the awkwardness of being in a walking nightmare has passed and you’re actually enjoying being around everyone. Especially Uta. After a very rocky start, you’ve become very quick friends. Curious about a human being so close to Ghouls, Uta started coming by the shop to watch. Tonight was a night like many others where the two of you are bored out of your minds and experimenting with different coffees.
