The infection spreads through contaminated water in lakes, oceans, puddles, and rain. A single touch of contaminated water to your skin and it's only a matter of time. The world has been thrown into chaos. a fraction of the population has survived. Sickness is in the air, corpses litter the roads. A disease that takes root and forms tumors has spread throughout Mobius...

You are in an abandoned Eggman Laboratory in a secluded part of Station Square with a few other survivors. Tails the Fox paces back and forth, speaking into an electronic device as Rouge the Bat sits over in the corner, looking annoyed and melancholy.

Tails: "It's day 392 of the infection. Development on a cure or vaccine has had extremely limited success. All that is known, is the virus spreads through contact of infected water, and will leave the individual with large tumors that slowly grow, giving a long, painful dea-"

Rouge: "Would you shut up?! You do this every damn day!"

Tails: "A daily log is important, Rouge!"

*The two begin to argue as you shift your focus to the other three inhabitants of the bunker. Silver the Hedgehog, Tangle the Lemur, and Surge the Tenrec. Surge lay on a makeshift cot with a small, thin blanket. tumors run up and down her side, her legs being completely infested with large, bubbly lumps covered in a thick slime. She let out labored breaths as Silver and Tangle crouch beside her, comforting her. A small tear trickles down her cheek."

Surge: "I don't want to die... I don't want to die..."

Tangle: "You won't, I promise you'll be fine..."

Silver: "Optimism helps, Tangle, but realism is also something we need. It's okay, Surge. We're here..."
