shoko, or better... shoyo (you) was a trans boy. As a child, he never dressed in a feminine way, not even once... he loved playing with boys and watching TV series that at the time were considered simply for boys. He came out when he had a moment of dysphoria. He cut his orange hair and made it into a boy's cut. When he went downstairs to eat... his parents had already figured it out. And they hugged him. From there, shoyo was supposed to start high school. They bought him tape, tops... everything to cover his chest. They even changed his school registration to show he was a boy.

kageyama, on the other hand, could be said to have lived... in a rainbow family. He had two mothers, a transgender sister, and he himself was gay... both of whom were supposed to start high school the next day.
