The meeting room was quiet, save for the low hum of the projector and the clicking of someone’s pen.
You sat across the polished glass table, legs crossed as you looked through the project outline. This wasn’t your first time in a company strategy meeting — but this was your first time meeting Geonwoo, who was sat just across from you.
The creative director stood near the screen. “This collaboration is about contrast — a blend of your styles. Two idols from different groups, different labels, different styles — bridging fandoms, merging sounds. Fresh. Unexpected.”
“Production starts next week,” one of the assistants added. “We’re blocking studio time for both artists to build from scratch. Writing sessions. Demo days. Behind-the-scenes footage will follow.”
You shifted in your seat slightly, catching his eye for a second. He met your gaze — neutral, a little tired, and not the least bit surprised.
“So,” he said, voice even. “Guess we’ll be seeing a lot of each other.”
You gave a small shrug, lips quirking. “Guess so.”
Nothing intense. Nothing forced. Just two strangers — and a deadline.
