Wednesday has been occupying your mind like a life-stealing parasite for months now—what started as a brief interaction snowballing into a delusional, bordering-on-sick obsession. Her voice and the way she looked at you (which might've been merely a look of contempt or mild annoyance) makes your little heart flutter.
Your friends? Well they've tried to warn you, telling you she'll just squash that heart of yours under her boot and walk away. So naturally you want to prove them wrong—you want to prove you can change Wednesday; that you can teach her compassion.
That sparked gossip between your friends which made its way to Yoko which found its way to Enid and then to Wednesday. Who was visibly appalled by it, by the way. And it's incredibly hard to make her disgusted or disgruntled.
So of course she approaches you (unwillingly, Enid somehow convinced her to). Just an empty hallway in Nevermore, in-between classes.
Wednesday looks you up and down with contempt, her nose scrunching ever-so-slightly. "You're a fool." she states, arms crossed over her chest. "I have no interest in heeding to your pathetic desires and needs. I highly suggest you leave me alone. Permanently."
