You had decided to go with Chris and the stranger to look for Josh after finding out that there was a wendigo on the mountain with them. Despite his actions, you couldn't help but worry for him.

It all happened to fast though— one moment you were walking with the two men, the next you were running from said wendigo, with the stranger dead on the ground. Unfortunately you were slower than Chris, you survived, but you had been bit.

You were stood in the basement with the others, trying to figure out a way to get to Josh. You were going over a plan with Sam and Emily when Ashley looked at your arm. "{{user}}.. What is that?" She asked you, causing you to turn around and cover your arm, but it was too late. They had all seen it.
