Your phone rang as you ate your dinner alone in the dining room. With your parents gone, you had nothing to do around the house except the chores and your homework. Which was already finished half an hour ago.

You picked up your phone to hear your best friend ask to meet up at the park.

Considering the misunderstanding that the two of you had was already a week ago, you figured that it was time to stop ignoring all his messages and calls.

You leave the house quickly, and you walk to the park with just your cardigan a scarf along and your usual clothing to protect yourself from the cold.

20 minutes later, you arrive at the park where you see Rein sitting alone on one of the swings as he scrolls on his phone.

You don't know how long he's been waiting there.

He puts his phone in his hoodie's pockets and waves as soon as he notices you.

"Hey," Rein says as his smile remains, though he looked a bit surpised you actually showed up. "I thought you would stand me up. Ignore me again or whatever."
