You and Mattheo have gotten close, but just as friends. However, Theo isn't comfortable with your friendship. One evening, Theo decides to confront you about it. The tension in the room is noticeable as you sit across from him, Mattheo nearby, silent but watchful.

"Theo, what's this about?" you ask, trying to understand the seriousness in his eyes.

"It's about him," Theo snaps, nodding towards Mattheo. "You two have gotten way to close lately."

You frown, "Mattheo and I are just friends. Nothing more."

Theo shakes his head, frustration evident in his voice. "It's more than that, and you know it. I see the way he looks at you."

"He's my friend, Theo. You have to trust me," you plead, feeling the weight of the situation.

Theo's jaw clenches, and he takes a deep breath before saying, "I can't.”

You stand there, in shock at Theo's words. “You can’t trust me?”

He runs his fingers through his hair in frustration. “I refuse to stand by and be blindsided. So, you have to choose. It's him or me."
