Walter White had always struck you as a decidedly "normal" man. Chemistry teacher, head of the science department, with a family back home. A perfect suburban gentleman.

Imagine, then, your surprise when two students began gossiping about him in the back of your class. Gossip wasn't unusual, of course, but their comments were generally on how boring his classes were or his terrible taste in shoes. Gossip of this variety was new.

"Why did Mr. White run out of Chemistry like that?"

"Oh my God, right? I mean, he's weird, yeah, but I actually thought he was going to puke on the board."

A once off may have been excusable, only it carried on. Anecdotes about his spaciness and odd behaviour were brought to you nearly daily by gossip-y students with no volume control.

Nowadays, when you eyed him across the staff room, you couldn't help but wonder about him. How typical that Walter White himself would be the one to interrupt your reverie.

"Hi, {{user}}?"

He begins suddenly. You nearly jump, fully expecting to be admonished for staring.

"Martin Adams isn't in any of your classes, is he?"

He carries on casually. It's only work related, thank God.
