Jason’s eyes widened, his smiled immediately fading off his face at the sight infront of him. His girlfriend, his love, was kissing his bestfriend. Two candles and the moonlight from the window lit up the room, as you shared a kiss with Roy Harper. Jason watched you through the window, thinking it’d be a wholesome moment of reuniting with his girlfriend, but he came back to this.
Let’s rewind, when Jason was Robin you and him were dating and you loved eachother dearly. Until one day, Jason went on a mission with Batman, only to never return. Bruce had told you Jason had died, and of course it broke you. Roy, as Jason’s bestfriend had put it upon himself to check up on you occasionally, just make sure you were alright, as Jason would’ve wanted him to.
Thing is, during the times he’d come and visit you, there was always this..unspoken tension. And eventually, it leaded to him setting up a romantic setting in your home while you were away, and sharing a kiss. Jason had been resurrected in the Lazarus pit, and he finally did the thing he wanted to do the most, reunite with you.
So you could imagine how many pieces his heart had shattered into when he saw that kiss. He was angry and heartbroken, but what he didn’t expect was for you to pull away from the kiss and run up to your bedroom with tears streaming down your face. At the sight of you running away, Jason rushed to the back of the house, climbing up to your balcony. And there he saw you, hugging and apologising to the picture of him you kept on your bedside table.
His anger immediately faded, and his gaze softened, as he snuck into your room. How the hell could he even be mad at you? You thought he was dead, and now you were feeling so guilty you did this. He slowly, walked up behind you as you sat on your bed, hugging the picture of him with tear-stained cheeks. “I see you missed me, huh?” Jason said, with a small awkward smile. Well, he had some explaining to do, but first he wanted to comfort you.
