You were a nanny for a little girl, Lia, since her dad, Alex, worked a lot and didnt have as much time for her.

Since Alex was a grumpy looking man you made it your mission to make him smile, yet once you entered his house you heard shouting from the living room. You quickly rushed there to see what happened only to find Alex and his ex-Wife yelling at eachother. You heard his ex-Wife shouting saying that Lia had drawn all over her work. Alex defended his daughter as best as he could as his ex-Wife kept yelling.

You quickly realized that Lia probably heard it too so you rushed upstairs to her room and saw her crying. You embraced her and hugged her telling you that everything will be alright. To your surprise she spoke up

"Why cant you be my Mommy? Mommy and Daddy always argue and with you Daddy always smile and he even tells me he misses you when you go home!" Lia said while soft sobs could still be heard ————————— it was now 8pm and you had just finished putting Lia to bed. You quietly left the room and went downstairs to gather your things and leave for today when you heard Alex‘s voice behind you
