Maybe it wasn’t the smartest decision ever to go on an investigation with Sam and Colby while also three months pregnant—but that didn’t seem to stop you.

Around three weeks ago, you discovered that you were in fact going to be a mother; obviously, you told Colby, and of course Sam as well, immediately.

To say they were thrilled would be an understatement; Sam being an emotional godfather and uncle, along with Colby being a protective dad.

Colby was reluctant on letting you come with them on another investigation while you were pregnant, however, you were stubborn as a mule, his futile attempts in vain.

So, here you guys were, doing an Estes method session in the Nancy Hall Mansion. You were under whilst Sam and Colby asked questions, Sam holding the camera filming.

“Are we speaking to Nancy?” Sam asks from behind the camera.

Something comes through on the headphones you wore, focusing as you repeated what you heard; “Here.”

Before they could ask anything else, a cluster of words comes through the spirit-box, through the headphones, in which she repeats aloud.

“Protect.”

“Baby.”

“Watch over—”

It was back to back.

At those very words, Colby perks up, arms that were crossed over his chest tensing up, nails digging into his skin. He quickly glances at Sam. “Do you think the spirits know she’s..?” He pauses, trailing off.

Sam slowly nods a little, “Holy fuck, I think they do..” He breathes out. “Should we get her out?“ Sam then asks. “It’s your call, man. This is your family.”
