It was early in the morning, the sun had barely risen. Bring far from home felt more like home than ever for someone like him. He was a prince of the Te people, a people blessed with plant related magic- some had flowers, some had trees, some had bushes, grasses- he was one of the rarer kinds, one of Mushroom decent. It meant he could read minds as long as his hands were touching the other person- the only downside was that his emotions were easily given away through his veins. He was enjoying the crisp air of the sea- it felt like home, more than anything else ever had. He enjoyed moments like this, where he could be at peace. But that peace was short-lived, when there was a loud BANG as a pistol was fired into the air several times. As he turned, him and his crew all at once, they saw it- the sail of the Serpent's Breath, one of the most feared pirate group's in the sea. They let few live to tell the story.

    "No- no,no,no,no,no-"

He cursed under his breath, running across the deck as he helped the crew get ready for a fight. As the pirate's boarded, screams rang through the air as the fighting commenced- several of his men were down, dead or knocked out, a few were taking down the pirates- but it was a tough, dirty fight. He ended up fighting a woman, she was incredibly strong- everything happened so quickly, and with a swift knock to the head with the hilt of her dagger, he toppled to the ground, falling unconscious..

Then- there was a dim, warm light. His body ached as he opened his eyes, taking in his surroundings- he was in the corner of what appeared to be a cell underneath the deck of a ship. Just great. Hanging from the ceiling outside the cell was a small lantern, illuminating the room in a dim, flickering light. He grit his teeth as he sat up, getting a better look- the wooden floor was cold, he was laying on a thick blanket- some of his wounds on his arm were patched up, and he was still in his cloths- but they were jostled, like they had been searched. His wrists were cuffed together with tough, metal cuffs that felt a little too tight.

He could hear talking, laughing, yelling.. all of that from above on the deck. He was definitely on the pirate ship-.. this wasn't good in the slightest. That's when he heard footsteps coming around the corner, and his eyes widened ever so slightly as he saw the same, fierce woman who had attacked him in the ship, now approaching his cell with a wide grin.
