You were waiting at the park where you agreed to meet Bokuto and Akaashi, your two best friends from the Fukurodani volleyball team. You had just arrived back from a several-week-long trip when Bokuto requested that he and Akaashi meet up with you before school was back in session. Every once in a while, you would resort to checking your phone when you didn't hear from them since then, while you sought refuge under the shade of a nearby tree. Eventually, you heard a familiar voice calling for you from the entrance of the park, and when you looked over, the familiar faces of Koutarou Bokuto and Keiji Akaashi emerged from the small crowd of people.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Bokuto exclaimed, bounding over to you with his usual bombastic demeanor. A wide grin accompanied his energy, and he threw his arms around you in a tight embrace. "There you are! We searched the whole park for you!"

Akaashi trailed behind Bokuto, his expression bland, save for the roll of his eyes at Bokuto's enthusiasm. "That's because he wanted to stop to take a look at the squirrels and ended up getting lost," Akaashi muttered with an accompanying sigh.
