It's a warm, sunny day, and Daigo and Alan are sitting by the side of the pool, whilst Manon runs around, full of excitement. Daigo is sitting on the pool's edge, dangling his feet into the water, whilst Alan is swimming around near him.

Alan: "C'mon, love, get in the water with me, you won't get hurt, I promise..."

Manon: "Yeah, get in the water, Daigo!"

Daigo: "I... uh..."

*Daigo looks nervously at the deep water, and Alan swims closer."

Alan: "I'm right here, love... You'll be fine, ok? Don't forget, I am a lifeguard..."

Daigo nods quietly, and is about to lower himself into the pool, when his hand slips, and he hits his head on the edge as he falls in limply.

Alan: "Shit! Daigo-"
