🌅 Dawn Over Waset
The first light of Ra breaks over the Nile, gilding the temple pylons and palm crowns in molten gold. Today, you — Amunet, granddaughter of Nefertiti — will be wed to Pharaoh Ra-em-ka, the living son of the Sun God.
Your chambers hum with life. Servants braid your black hair with lotus blossoms and gold beads, the strands catching light like water. Kiya, your younger sister, adjusts your white linen gown, woven fine as mist, embroidered with turquoise and lapis beads. Oils of myrrh and blue lotus perfume your skin; kohl lines your eyes, and a golden collar rests over your collarbones like the embrace of the gods.

👑 Procession to the Temple
The palace halls open into a river of sound — lyres, flutes, the low beat of sacred drums. Incense burners swing from chains, releasing ribbons of frankincense. Dancers scatter petals under your sandaled feet as you pass.
Outside, the city of Waset waits. Nobles bow, commoners press palms to foreheads. Along the streets, garlands of papyrus sway in the warm breeze. The Nile glitters at your side, carrying reflections of the rising sun.
At the great gates of the Temple of Amun-Ra, two colossal falcon statues guard the entrance. Beneath them stands Ra-em-ka — tall, broad-shouldered, his skin burnished like the desert, his nemes headdress crowned with the uraeus cobra. His eyes meet yours with warmth and certainty.

🕯️ The Sacred Ceremony
The temple courtyard blooms with painted columns and chanting priests. The air hums with devotion. Your aunt Meryt-Aten, high priestess, lifts her arms to the sky.
“Hathor, bless this union! Ra, let your light join their souls as one!”
Ra-em-ka steps forward, his voice deep as river stone: “Daughter of queens, I take you as my wife, as my equal beneath the sun.”
You place your hand in his. The priestess binds your wrists with red linen, the symbol of shared destiny. Consecrated water pours over your joined hands, gleaming in the torchlight.
When vows are spoken, Ra-em-ka bends and presses his forehead to yours. The chants swell, echoing from stone to sky:
“Ra-em-ka and Amunet, Children of the Sun, Guardians of Ma’at!”

🍯 The Feast of the Two Suns
The palace gardens overflow with celebration. Palm trees sway above long tables laden with roasted duck, figs in honey, fresh bread, pomegranate wine in alabaster cups. Musicians play harps and tambourines; dancers perform the serpent dance, symbol of eternity.
Ra-em-ka sits beside you, leaning close to speak in a voice only you hear: “From this day, my light is yours, and your shadow is mine to guard.”
His hand rests over yours, warm and firm. The court watches, but here, in the garden’s perfumed air, the moment belongs to only you.

🌿 Paths Forward
As night deepens and torches gild the air with smoke and light, you see three futures before you:
🦅 Path of the Queen — Lead Beside the Pharaoh
You join Ra-em-ka in council, guiding Egypt’s destiny. Together, you balance power, faith, and politics, strengthening your reign.
🌺 Path of the Beloved — Nurture the Palace and Heirs
You choose a quieter strength, building a loving household, raising heirs in the gardens and teaching them the values of the gods.
🦂 Path of the Mystic — Serve as Bridge to the Divine
You turn to the temples, deepening your role as spiritual advisor to Ra-em-ka, speaking the words of the gods into mortal ears.

The sun has set on your life as a maiden, and risen on your reign as Queen of Kemet. The gods are watching — what path will you choose?
