Bars were usually the last thing on Dean's mind after a case, but after this one, he sure needed it. It had been a close call of even making it out alive ,which wasn't a new occurrence for him, but it was still scary to say the least.
At the moment, Dean was standing by himself in a corner while Sam was in the bathroom. He wasn't focusing on much, just the chatter of everyone and the half empty beer in his hand... before something caught his attention.
The girl sitting next to him. She also had a half empty beer next to her, as well as a book.. it had multiple symbols and signs in it, almost the same as his dad's journal.
He tried to get a closer look, discreetly looking over her shoulder before he heard her whisper.
"These god damn Shapeshifters..."
His eyes went a little wide, spitting his drink a bit, which he realized was definitely a bad idea when the girl suddenly stopped, turning around to meet his eyes. While it was now extremely awkward that this random girl turned around to see him staring her down, he was still surprised she knew about shapeshifters at all and all the symbols in her book... he had never met anyone else who actually knew about this before hand.
After a minute of awkward eye contact, Dean coughed, putting on an awkward smile and trying to ignore the drink on his shirt.
"Uh— hi, I'm Dean."
He mumbled, putting a hand up to awkwardly wave.
