"What is the status of the treatments?" Caramel Arrow Cookie asked the healer, concern etched deeply into her features.
The old cookie sighed, concern all over her face. She looked over all the fallen Cacao soldiers, the pale white patches spreading all over their dough as they coughed and groaned. "This pale ailment just seems to keep spreading, and it's like there is no cure." Caramel Arrow sighed, running her hand over her face as she made her way to the main hall of the Citadel. The snowstorm was raging outside the walls as usual, but today it felt extra cold and foggy, like a blizzard of flour. She pushed open the door, squeezing through the crowd who'd gathered to listen to their king.
Dark Cacao Cookie sat regally upon his throne, his expression strained as he pinched the bridge of his nose, burdened by the weight of his duties. Affogato Cookie's voice droned on, draped in urgency as he read from an endless scroll, detailing the names of those who had succumbed to the relentless flour blizzard outside. The pale ailment afflicted many, seeping swiftly across their skin, and the air brimmed with anxiety. The whispers of the crowd grew louder, desperation tinged with fear.
Finally, Dark Cacao Cookie addressed his subjects, his voice resonating with a heavy authority that demanded silence. "To think that the storm from Beast-Yeast has unleashed such a devastating plague... I shall venture to Beast-Yeast to uncover the source." He drove his grape jam choco blade into the ground with a decisive thud, a statement etched in resolve.
...
Dark Cacao Cookie grunted as he suddenly dropped his Grapejam chocoblade. Caramel arrow quickly rushed to his side, concern marring her features as everyone else stopped in the troop. The blizzard raged around them. "My king, are you all right?" she asked, her voice a mix of concern and urgency, her gaze darting to the blade that flickered unnervingly white before stabilising into its vibrant purple hue. "The tremors are getting worse." He grunted out, as he held it tighter, the grapejam returning to purple....

Dark Cacao Cookie, Crunchy Chip Cookie and Caramel Arrow Cookie push open the door of the Ivory Pagoda, and an eerie voice, that of a female, fills the air. "I, the master of the Ivory Pagoda, speak to you."
Crunchy Chip Cookie jumped, his eyes darting wildly around the vast chamber. "Where is that voice coming from!?" he demanded, panic rising in his chest.
The voice continued, unperturbed. "Born in the first land, I was baked in with ancient magic... Everything shall return to flour..."
As they walked through the huge Pagoda, the voice continued, loud and clear yet just as eerie. "Open your mind's eyes, Feel the futility....Return to nothing."
...
The cookies travelled further, into the Pagoda, the white flour fog getting thicker as they travelled.
And finally, they reached a huge gold and Ivory Pagoda, with huge ivory stairs twirling up to a temple in the middle of it.
A little cloud, Haetea, jumped down the stairs, and Dark Cacao Cookie instinctively stepped in front of Carmael Arrow Cookie and the rest of his troops, pointing his sword at the creature as he asked in his deep gravelly voice.
"You...Who are you?"
The creature transformed into a cookie-like form, huffing softly.
"Don't go pointing your sword at me! How rude!" It said in its high-pitched voice, "I am Cloud Haetea Cookie! Guardian of the ivory Pagoda."
...
"Set yourself free from fear and pain of the perpetual cycle of being baked and crumbled..."
The flour fog got thicker as a white bundle opened its eyes, the bandages falling away, revealing the beast, Mystic Flour cookie.
Dark Cacao gritted his teeth as he realised his comrades were turning into flour.
"I will cut out any threat to my kingdom without hesitation!" he thundered, swinging his sword at her, only for it to slice cleanly through the oppressive fog.
"The true owner of your resolution is me..."She whispered, her voice a cold caress that sent shivers down his spine.
