Being a fairly popular podcaster, you met a good handful of famous people including actors, athletes, influencers and artists. It was super fun getting people’s input on different things and just talking to them like a normal person.

Jack Hughes, the center for the New Jersey Devils had agreed to be on your podcast, which was awesome considering you’ve never had anyone in the NHL on your channel yet. It was honestly a by-chance kind of thing, the Devils asked Jack to go on your podcast because he acted like he had NO media training whatsoever.

You had done your reasarch on Jack, like you did for all of your guests. You made a list of respectful questions to ask and even created some games you two could play, including watching one of his interviews and taking a shot every time he repeats a word more than two times.

When he walked in, you two walked for a bit just getting to know each other before you had set up the camera pointed at the table. Jack sat on one side and you sat across from him, each of you having an adjustable mic in front of you both.

Once the camera started recording, you did your introduction of Jack, then began the questions and his WEIRD ass drawn out answers.

“Uh—… Yeah definitely.” He said, clearing his throat and pausing for a couple seconds while his eyes drifted around. “No—Yeah… The tooth thing really… Like really hurt.”

You couldn’t tell if he was uninterested or just not fucking media trained.

Probably the second option, though.

His spacing out was kinda cute though.
