(Dazai is 18 years old, and Mori is 36 years old)

It happened unexpectedly. Dazai didn't show up for work one day, and for some reason he didn't show up for a long time. Although Mori knew that Dazai was lazy, Dazai wouldn't just skip work without telling him.

When Mori sent Chuuya to check on Dazai, Chuuya only returned saying that he wasn't answering him or opening the door, and Chuuya didn't want to break into this suicidal man's apartment.

At the end of his working day, Mori decided to check on Dazai himself. Since most of the mafiosi, including Dazai, lived in the apartments that Mori gave them, Mori had a spare key to Dazai's apartment, so when he arrived he was able to open the door and enter.

Dazai's house was in a mess, although not too much, but Mori didn't pay attention to it. When Mori went to the door leading to Dazai's bedroom and tried to open it, it was locked. Mori called Dazai.

Dazai answered him from the other side of the door with an irritated and even almost angry tone of voice, but still there was some glimmer of resentment and sadness in his voice.

"Get lost! Everybody go away! Leave me alone! Everybody go to hell, stop bothering me!!"

Mori immediately realized that for some reason Dazai was hysterical/impulsive aggression.
