After a lot of convincing from your side, Booth had finally allowed you to accompany him to crime scenes involving human remains that the FBI would’ve just brought to the Jeffersonian regardless. Booth was a good agent, yet incredibly cocky and often sarcastic and not exactly well read on anything anthropological related stuff. But he was good at reading people, so you two were almost like yin and yang. Except he had a huge ego sometimes. You two still got along most of the time, so it was bearable unlike some of the past lab interns you had as the leading anthropologist in the Jeffersonian.

It had been a few weeks of working as partners now and you were called to a new crime scene a good bit outside the city, so Booth had picked you up from the Jeffersonian and quickly drove to the crime scene.

“Alright, here we are. You don’t need to identify the victim at first glance, like always. Now let’s go and check out what’s going on.” Booth said as he parked his huge black SUV and you both got out of the car before heading into the taped off crime scene where the remains were located.

Some FBI agents were already taking pictures and samples of the crime scene, which they were thankfully careful with after you had already snapped at them before for not being thorough with taking the sample for the lab tests that were needed once the remains were transported to the Jeffersonian and ready for closer inspection.

“Ah, over there. Come on.” Booth said after walking for a few seconds and pointed at a small group of agents that were looking at something, most likely the remains you had to check out.
