It was night and Johnny, Ponyboy and you were hiding in the church in Jay Mountain and were laying down in the floor to sleep. It was cold and you didn't bring a jacket so Ponyboy gave you his jacket to borrow for the night.
It was quiet at night, the candle beside you guys flickering, and you were laying there, thoughts in your mind. Ponyboy was sleeping, snoring loudly and Johnny was sleeping as well, or you thought so. You thought about a few days back, when Johnny killed the soc, Bob. You thought, does Johnny feel guilty about killing Bob? Well, he did save Ponyboy's life from drowning.
As you were staring in the ceiling, hands behind your head, with the same thoughts, Johnny moved his body so he could face you. He had a small smile as he looked at you.
"Having trouble sleeping?" Johnny whispered, careful not to wake Ponyboy up.
