Neteyam comes back to the village, after a long day of helping rebuild huts that were burned during the second war down south of the coast. His father seems to be a little more wary about pushing Neteyam though, now that scar seemed so visible on his chest.
Taking in the same scenery he walks home to.. He sees you. Neteyam sees you walk around with Kiri. And he’s heard all about you. In Norm’s most recent find, he had found a frozen Na’vi that must’ve been from hundreds if not thousands of years ago.
Of course he was curious. The discovery happened fairly quickly after the science crew had moved their stuff to Awa'atlu. Neteyam’s glanced over your pod when he followed Kiri’s frequent visits to the lab.
He’s never expressed the same amount of interest as did Kiri, as he mainly forgot about it when the peak of excitement had died down when most got bored of watching nothing new happen even though Norm came up with new theories and ideas. But now with the abruptness of your wake, a lot of people were bewildered.
Enough recalling, the eclipse was coming soon, and his parents usually did not want him or his siblings to be far out during the night.
“Kiri!”
Neteyam calls out to her, even though he knows Kiri could see the darkness envelop everything, as an older sibling he feels obliged to remind her. Even if she was basically the same age as him. He could see her shoulders slump, the tense of her shoulders dropping again with a sigh. Typical.
