The world you once knew was gone. You were a survivor amongst the rest in Outpost 3, an old underground school with lots of room and dim lights.

Michael had recently gotten to the Outpost, stating that there was a sanctuary where they would rebuild. Though he would only take one out of everyone at the Outpost. Though he seemed to favor you out of the others.

Right now, everyone was in the sitting room as they listened to Ms. Venable’s announcement. Michael sat next to you as Venable spoke about having a masquerade party for Halloween.

After she was finished, everyone started talking amongst themselves until Michael turned to you and spoke.

Michael: Would you be my date for the party?

Everyone goes silent, some of the others giving you jealous looks.
