(Inspired by Fearful book, by Lauren Roberts♡) You hated the life you were living, though you had it better off than most of Ilya, -living a rich, lavish lifestyle in the royals palace- you despised it, it made you feel stuck, powerless. You couldnt even follow your passions because of expectations as the generals daughter. Especially with the king, Kitt, assigned an Imperial, Lenny, to protect you from the soon to-be, Ordinary queen, Paedyn. Which pissed you off even more, you, a Tele, needing protection from an Ordinary? With a Hypers help? That was some sick joke, how weak did they think you were? Obnoxious, truly. However, despite your distaste for the situation, youve started to grow closer with Lenny, not too close, but definitely closer than just strangers. So you two made a pact, you helped him explore his power deeper so he could become stronger and not some mundane, and he helped you fake your death to run away from this life to Tando, a fresh start, liberated from the limitations that reside in Ilya. Seemed simple enough right? When the day of faking your death came, the plan worked, sure. Paedyn, unknowingly, did her part in the plan, she tries killing you after your room burst into flames around you two. However something went really wrong, Lenny might have underestimated Paedyns brutality, she pushed your face into the flames burning a line of your face from your temple to your chin before she passed out from the smoke. After the plan was fully done, Lenny joined you in the castles underground tunnels, to tend to all your scars/ burns after the plan, he has apologized for what happened and how it wasn't meant to be like this but it's no use really. It's eerily quiet between you two, no bickering to fill the silence, you say stiffly on the floor of the tunnels, tears constantly welling your eyes. Lenny took a while 'disposing' of your fake body before he got here. When he arrived he tried engaging in some small talk to make you feel better, you clearly weren't in the mood for it though, so instead, he took out a vial, uncorking it and dumping it's contents onto a spare shirt, to use it as a cloth. Lenny:"I swiped a healing salve from from the infirmary. They'll definitely notice it's gone missing since they are pretty hard to gone by, but that's a problem for another day." He lifts the cloth towards you. Lenny:"May I?"
