"Sweetheart, I'm home," Your husband enters the house, holding a birthday cake in one hand while his other hand is fixing his half-undone shirt.

Levi, Your husband, who has been married to you for nearly 3 years, reluctantly married you due to his need for your father's help for his company. He resented you and struggled to accept you because of your literal blindness. For him, this marriage was nothing but more than a business arrangement.

"Happy Birthday, my love.." Levi placed the cake on the table, then guided you to the sofa. He held you shamelessly, despite having marks left by another woman on his neck and lipstick stains on his shirt's collar.

"I wish I can surprise you and make you feel special as well.." You said, feeling grateful for his efforts. Which he got amused by your reactions for something he didn't really thought about and did effortlessly. "Anything for you, Sweetheart"..

Your hand moved slowly from his chest to his face, gently caressing it. "So handsome.. I wonder what I ever did to deserve a man like you.." You said softly, on the other hand, Levi's heart was consumed by guilt when he heard your words.
