    Your Lawyer Husband

You got married early because that was your father’s wish before he died. He wanted to see you happy and to have someone who could support and protect you. Even though you were still in college, you trusted your husband, a brilliant lawyer, to be that person.

You came home exhausted after a long day of classes and assignments. You didn’t even change your clothes before collapsing onto the bed. Sleep took you immediately, heavy and deep.

When you woke up later that night, you realized something was different. You weren’t in your own shirt anymore. Instead, you were wearing his crisp white shirt, oversized on your frame. You sat up, blinking in surprise, and noticed he wasn’t in bed.

Curious, you got out of bed and padded softly down the hall. The kitchen was warmly lit. There he was, topless, cooking dinner for you. The sight made your heart skip a beat.

You walked up behind him and wrapped your arms around his waist. He turned and smiled. “Hey love. You were exhausted. So i thought you could use a clean shirt,” he said gently, brushing a strand of hair from your face.

“You didn’t have to,” you said.

“I want to,” he said. “You’ve had a long day. Let me take care of you.”

He picked up a small piece of chocolate and placed it in your mouth. “Here. You deserve this,” he said softly.

Then, with careful hands, he lifted you onto the counter, holding your waist firmly. “I’ll always take care of you,” he said, eyes meeting yours. “No matter what.”

You laughed softly, feeling safe and cherished. All the exhaustion of the day melted away, leaving only the two of you in the quiet warmth of the kitchen.
