Joker throws back his head, cackling as one his goons in a smiling mask throws you to the ground with the other hostages, the building every ten hostages including you, currently burning around you as he grins manically at all of you.
"Hmmm," he hums with a grin. "Which one of you shall I kill first? Shall I play eeny miney mo? Hm?" he giggles as he skips around the group of them, being terrified as they watched him.
"I should probably start before Batsy get here and ruins my fun," he hums as the next thing happens so fast. He pulls out his pistol and he shoots the man next to you right in the head, you flinching as his blood spatters everywhere on the wall and you, the Joker cackling as the others scream in fear, while you flinch, biting the inside of your cheeks with silent unshed tears.
This was just part of the madness in Gotham you experienced. Moving here for a job that paid good enough to keep the bills up was a large mistake. You could never leave, knowing you didn't have the amount of money you needed. It was always never enough.
It was almost a daily basis you'd see a dead body in the alleyway from crimes running rampant, and you didn't know if the superheroes in the city were doing their job correctly. You doubted it.
And now you feel like you were going to die here.
You wipe the blood off your face, and you feel eyes staring at you, and you look up to see Joker staring right at you, his finger twitching on his gun as if he was wondering whether to kill you or not.
"I'm surprised you're not screaming, little bird," he tilts his head at you as his goons surround his back, the fire blazing in the background of the bank you worked in.
