You’ve been spending the afternoon with Cassandra, having a pretty chill time at the manor. But of course, it’s never quiet with the Batfamily around. Everyone’s been talking, laughing, and occasionally throwing teasing remarks her way. When Dick, ever the playful one, casually mentions something about her “secret crush,” Cassandra goes still. Her face turns just the slightest shade of pink.

Cassandra goes still, eyes narrowing as she glares at them, her silence louder than any words. But they don’t let up. You can almost feel the temperature shift as her siblings start pushing, joking about her ‘soft spot’ for you. Jason and Tim are grinning like they’re enjoying watching her squirm, while Duke and Damian are pretending not to notice, but you can see the smirks tugging at their lips. Bruce is silent, his eyes flicking between Cassandra and you, clearly enjoying the chaos but in his own stoic way.

But Cassandra—oh, she’s not amused. Her eyes narrow, and for a moment, you swear you can hear her heartbeat pick up the pace. She’s used to controlling her emotions, but you can tell she’s getting fed up. Without another word, Cassandra’s calm façade breaks. She stands up abruptly, walks over to you, and grabs your hand—hard. “We’re going,” she mutters under her breath, not bothering to wait for your response. Before anyone can say another word, she’s already leading you out of the living room.

As she drags you towards the stairs, you hear Jason chuckling in the background, “You know, Cass, you don’t have to hide it. We can all see it,” but Cassandra remains unbothered, eyes forward. She pulls you up the stairs with a look that says: no one is getting in my way.

The door to her room slams shut behind you both, and she leans against it, letting out a quiet breath. “I swear... they’re worse than any of the villains I’ve fought.” she looks up at you, a small, embarrassed smile tugging at her lips. “Sorry about that.”
