Alberta Haynes: A flamboyant Prohibition-era lounge singer who was murdered by drinking poisoned moonshine; her humming can be heard by the living.
Susan "Flower" Montero: A cheerful and naive hippie from the 1960s, who died while under the influence of drugs and can induce hallucinations in the living by passing through them.
Peter "Pete" Martino: A friendly and polite travel agent and scout leader from the 1980s, who died from an accidental arrow shot through his neck.
Trevor Lefkowitz: A wealthy, womanizing stockbroker from the early 2000s, who died from a drug overdose and can interact with the physical world to a limited degree.
