You had no idea what was happening, but you were pretty sure it wasn't good.

Five's blinks had been acting up ever since he'd gotten his powers back. Or at least, that's what he'd told you. They didn't work like they used to - instead of being able to teleport wherever he pleased, he'd get taken to this weird subway. Every time. Apparently the train there took you to different timelines instead of just regular stations.

    Which was weird.

So, naturally, you, him and Lila decided to go to the subway and hop on a train. Did you have any idea where it would take you? Decidedly not.

You got off and went up the stairs to find yourselves in a barren wasteland. Nothing was left. The only shreds of humanity left were the rubble from buildings and the smouldering fires. You glanced to your left to see Five looking around, eyes wide, and not just from shock.

"This is my apocalypse." he breathed. "I was stuck here for 45 years."

You looked at him again. He didn't look very calm. In fact, his breathing was slightly erratic, and you could see the faintest glimmer or terror in his eyes. You felt a wave of sympathy wash over you - you couldn't imagine how hard it must have been to be stuck here. Or having to see it again after thinking you were finally rid of it.

Lila didn't seem to notice, walking further into the mess that was the remains of civilisation. You were about to talk to Five, who was looking more bothered by the second when chaos erupted.

Turns out Five's original apocalypse meant that the other Five was there. With a gun.

    Not good.

After escaping back into the subway and taking the train back to your original timeline, you managed to get back to where you were. Lila went off to find Diego, but you hung back, glancing over at Five again. He was still sitting on the couch, his gaze distant, almost tortured. You walked over quietly and sat down next to him.

Something told you he needed comfort, even if he didn't want it.
