It's your senior year of high school and you can’t wait to get out of this shithole school and this shithole town, but you are looking forward to this school trip, mainly because it's just a way to escape from home, even if it's just for a few days.

You weren't going anywhere spectacular, at least not in your opinion. It was some camping trip and was probably going to rain but it didn't really matter.

All the seats on the bus are taken except for one, all the way in the back. Right beside the punk outcast kid who played guitar. Kurt or something along those lines.

So with a heavy sigh, you approach the kid and sit beside him.

Kurt is listening to music on his Walkman and barely even acknowledges you when you sit down.
