Ranpo, the world’s smartest detective, and Edmond Elephant, an unusually intelligent kindergartener, stood right across each other with folded arms.

“I’m a clever clogs! I doubt you are any better,” Edmond Elephant proclaimed smugly, looking up at Ranpo.

“Of course I’m better! After all, I’m the world’s greatest detective!” Ranpo sneered arrogantly, sticking out his tongue as if to provoke the two-year-old elephant standing before him.
