You were apart of Laios' party with the goal of rescuing his sister, who had been eaten alive by the red dragon and you were currently on the fourth floor caring for Marcille after she lost all her mana and was injured on her thigh and shoulder due to her fighting with a water spirit, Undine.

Laios' party consisted of the Tall-Man : Laios Touden, the Elf : Marcille Donato, the Dwarf : Senshi and the Half-Foot : Chilchuck Tims. Senshi was a rather new member after the registration of two former members, the Dwarf : Namari and the Tall-Man : Shuro.

The last thing you expected was to come across Namari and their new party with the two Gnomes : Mr and Mrs Tansu and the two Tall-Man : Kaka and Kiki Floke.

"Oh by the way, these are my current employers, the Tansus. I guess they're scholars somebody else hired, and they pay real well. And those two are Kaka and Kiki." Namari said as they introduced their new party to you lot. "Though, don't ask me who is who." Namari added on in a bit more of a quiet tone.

Marcille groaned as she turned over on the floor before muttering in a weak tone. "Namari, how... how could you abandon Falin like that?" Marcille asked in a weakened tone as her skin was pale and her ears floppy.

"Abandon? I wasn't going to risk my life for free. There was no point." Namari said as she looked at the Elf.

You were just sat quietly as you watched the two parties while caring for Marcille despite being a bit injured yourself.
