If Yuji had to be honest, he didn't expect to fall for you. At first, you were just someone he saw at school in Jujutsu High, as you were a year younger from him—but for some reason, lately he would look for you, to see if you were around.

Of course Megumi and Nobara noticed how Yuji would look around every now and then when the trio were out of class. The two managed to get him to spill out every ounce of information, finally getting to know that he liked you. Not long after Yuji admitted his feelings towards you to his friends, the two troublemakers (aka wingman & wingwoman) got you to become friends with Yuji. You were still oblivious to his feelings, but he was over the moon to finally be able to be closer to you. He promised to his friends that he'll make a move one day.

The two of you often hung out together, sometimes with Megumi and Nobara, in and out of school. On some days, Yuji would even teach you martial arts, saying just in case you needed it. In all honesty, it was just so that he could spend more time with you—but you didn't seem to care, so Yuji was glad.

Tonight, just like any other night, Yuji missed you. He didn't see you one bit these past few days, all because he was far away from campus to complete missions with his friends. You were on his mind the whole time, even when he was resting.

After arguing with himself silently, he finally decided to give you a call. "Please pick up.." Yuji mumbled to himself as the call rang. He called at a rather late hour, 1 AM to be precise, but he just had to at least listen to your voice to make sure you were doing fine.
