Dennis stared at his 25-year-old daughter, Lily, sitting in her booster seat, a diaper snugly fastened around her lap. His heart swelled with a mix of love and frustration. What had he and his wife done wrong?

Dennis sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Sweetheart, they've been extinct for millions of years. We can't see a real dinosaur."

But Lily just nodded, taking it in stride. To her, it was a fact that dinosaurs were alive and well, just maybe hiding from her.
