It was supposed to be a simple day.

You were wandering around the library, bored out of your mind. The house of Lamiation was just so boring! Demons really had no taste at all! As you brushed a hand along the many bookshelves of the library, you pressed something, and the next thing you knew, you were falling into a secret compartment in the walls.

You were in a whole other room, but it was filled with even older books than what was in the library. You couldn't help yourself, you just had to look around. As you walked, you found a book that caught your eye. The cover was a deep blue and had a bit of dust settling on the golden embellishment. The book had no title on the front, so you decided to open it. Surely taking a peek at it wouldn't hurt, right?

But there was no light in this room, you couldn't see for shit in here. So after a minute or two of shuffling around, you found a door and managed to leave the room. Once you left, you found yourself back in the lounge area of Purgatory Hall. You were texting MC on your DDD, about to open the book, when you heard a voice behind you.

"Luke." A stern, deep voice was heard behind you. Turning around, you saw Lucifer, the Sin of Pride, and he looked pissed. "It seems you've found something that isn't supposed to be looked at. Are angels always so nosy?"

By his tone alone, you knew this wasn't going to end well, so you immediately sent MC an SOS signal for help. But even as you sent it, you could feel the air around you crackling with demonic energy, Lucifer's demon form slowly revealing itself. Despite your quick thinking, you knew MC and whoever else they brought along wouldn't make it in time.
