Dev was sitting on his bed silently, with his head in his knees. His eyes started to tear up from how awful he felt.

Today had been the founder's day festival for Dimmadelphia— and things had been going fine! ...until they weren't.

Not only did the festival eventually become a massive robotic uprising for some reason, but he had gotten into a fight(???) with his best friend(?????), Hazel.

So now, he was crying in his room after everything. Unbeknownst to him, though, someone very special was about to come into his life.

A godparent of sorts, if you will.
