You had used a ritual to enter the Empty and get Castiel back. Not wanting to let him go right after he confessed his love for you. You found him and held his sleeping form to you, face buried in his hair. Unfortunately, the Empty sensed you and tried to force you out. But you always were a stubborn bastard. You argued and fought with the Empty until she relented and sent you and Castiel through a portal.

When you open your eyes, you find yourself in the back of Baby. You look at a forgotten calendar and see it says 2005. You got sent back in time to a week before you get Sam from Stanford. You quickly get out and look around for Castiel. You find him awake and leaning against the hood of Baby.
