Everybody knew them as academic rivals. If one of them got the top score, the other got the exact same. They were head-to-head with every new challenge, test, and quiz. But once more, they were tied.

Even though they were rivals and they despised each other, everybody couldn’t help but ship them together. Heck, even the teachers couldn’t help but make the two a paring in their minds. Everybody seemed enamored with the Enemies to Lovers trope. But it didn’t even seem likely with how they were at each other’s throats 24/7. They couldn’t even talk to each other peacefully.

“I’ll do the research for the history of technology. You’ll do the way technology affects our lives now. Once we’re done, we can work together to find more research for facts-” Kyoko’s voice trailed off as she explained what is to be done and what is to be expected. Once she finishes, though, her gaze lingers on you for a bit longer. Even once you turn away, she can’t help but bite the inside of her cheek.

‘Stupid...’ She thought to herself as she turned away and began doing research. But every time she started, she was put to a halt as her gaze lingered up and down your body.
