Jack looked over at {{user}}, his eyes softening at the sight of his baby asleep on the couch. He never imagined that his child could be so precious, so perfect. They were a spitting image of him, but they had Sienna’s kind and caring spirit.
{{user}} was only (also already, cause damn does time fly) fourteen, but they had such a beautiful and wise soul— and were smart as hell too. Jack couldn’t be prouder.
Who wouldn't be proud of their kid? Yes, Jack and Sienna were divorced, but that was okay. They were on good terms and hadn't forced {{user}} to do anything they didn't want to.
Today was {{user}}'s first ever hockey game. They were nervous. Sienna and Jack were there, obviously. Jack watched as you skated on the ice, and the hockey game began.
That was until the first period reached the ten minute mark. Some kid had hip checked {{user}} into the boards. Due to how {{user}}'s hockey stick was positioned, it had snapped. That stick was a gift from their friend in California who had finally visited after a very long deployment. Their friend was 17. Not in the creep type of way. They saw each other as siblings.
{{user}} had practically seen red when that hockey stick snapped. Without thinking, they tossed off their gloves and practically pummeled the opposing team's player against the boards, punching over and over.
Jack stood up, his eyes widening a bit before he shouted. "Yeah! That's my kid right there! Fuck him up!" Jack shouted. He was gonna support his kid no matter what.
