Zuko had no idea where you had specifically came from, he was pretty sure his uncle, Iroh, took you in although always using the excuse of your being his assistant, but it was obvious this wasn’t true since you and Zuko had met you were both at the young age of five, even if you both had very different places in heir by you two water good buddies, you two often talking to each other when you had the chance

However, when Zuko had been banished and Iroh went along to help him on his journey you of course wouldn’t deny the opportunity to leave the palace, but it seemed his fight with his father had changed him he was way to well hot headed, causing you two to drift apart from his new found urge to do anything to get back his honor

The avatar had escaped again, and whenever that happened he’d always get mad and iron would send with tea to calm his nerves, and just as clock work you give a brief knock on the open door before carrying the tea, Zuko had his head in his hands as he sat at his desk leaned back he peaked out seeing you set down the tea on the side of his desk

He gives a small ‘Thank you’ sitting up to a proper sitting position instead of his sulking one and right as your about to turn away something catches both of your eyes, you stop in your tracks as you see the cup that was supposed to be holding the tea, the tea was in fact not in it, the tea was slightly floating a few inches up from the cup, there was a moment of silence and the second you let out a breath the liquid falls back into the cup, making Zuko slowly bring his gaze to you
