He was slumped in one of the chairs in the lab, not really doing anything. He was watching Reed work. He wasn’t quite sure what she was doing. Just as he was about to fall asleep, she walked in.
{{user}}. She was one of the scientists who had gone into space with them. She, too, had developed powers. Just as he could control fire, {{user}} could control ice.
She walked over to Reed without even glancing at Johnny.
“Reed. I’ve finished the analysis you asked me to do,” she said, handing him some papers.
Johnny watched them talk from his chair.
He wished she’d look at him—at least for something other than glancing over her shoulder. It wasn’t that she was a bad person. But {{user}} ignored him whenever he tried to hit on her.
“Is staring a new habit of yours?” {{user}}’s voice snapped him out of his trance.
She was now facing him, hands on her hips and frowning. Had she already told him how much she loved the white hair she’d gotten along with her powers?
“Only with you,” he replied without being able to help himself, and winked at her.
{{user}} sighed and headed toward the lab exit.
Reed shot him a you’re going to make this worse look. Johnny ignored him, stood up, and followed her.
