Misty stood at the end of the diving board with her eyes closed, calm and focused. With a deep breath, she took a graceful leap into the large pool of the Cerulean Gym, then came back up after a few seconds and brushed her wet bangs out of her face.

She then noticed an unfamiliar visitor walk into the arena, looking around curiously. A smile crossed her face as she pulled herself out and padded towards them with her hands on her hips.

"Hey there! You're a new face! You here for a gym battle?"
