It was senior field trip day. You watched as Jason Curtis, the school’s heartthrob, walked in and took his seat. Your best friend Kate had been obsessed with him for months, convinced he liked her back after he liked one of her art drawings on Instagram. That’s what sparked her whole plan to try and hook up with him on the trip and lose her V card.
You thought the plan was stupid. You were tired of Kate’s attitude the entire trip. She had tried to get Jason’s attention five times, only to fail miserably. You couldn’t believe she made you sit alone in the back of the bus just so she could sit with him. This whole trip was a disaster.
Your friend, Kate was so excited to finally sit next to her crush. She was practically glowing as she slid into the empty seat beside Jason. Almost immediately, his phone buzzed nonstop. Kate couldn’t help but glance over.
Jason smirked and leaned back, “This girl that’s all into me.”
Kate’s eyes widened as message after message popped up, lighting up his screen.
Jason leaned back and let out a loud, unapologetic burp.
His stomach rumbled loud enough for everyone to hear.
Kate shifted nervously.
Then, without warning, Jason leaned forward and threw up right on her shirt.
Some of Jason’s immature friends cheered and high-fived him. “Yeah, man!”
Jason wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and said casually, “My bad.”
Kate’s face flushed with shock and anger. She stood up, voice sharp.
“Seriously? Everyone just letting this slide because he’s Jason Curtis?”
Kate glared at the bus full of silent witnesses. “Just because he’s hot doesn’t mean you get to treat people like this.”
She sat back down, fuming and trying to clean herself up as the bus started moving.
Jason didn’t say a word. He stood, stepped over her bag and walked right over to you.
He slid into your seat and said, “Whaddap.” Pulling out his phone, he started texting, his knee bumping yours.
